I've been to this location twice: this winter and the previous year for some winter mountaineering. This was from Feb 2012 and we had great weather conditions, sunny and calm with snow on the ground for our purposed (with 1 bad day). I never did get the perfect shot of the 5 sisters (which is the name of these hills you see) but this is one of my best from the trip. I got up earlier than everyone else just to get it, though this view is from the grounds of the hostel so no great effort was needed to capture it. It would be interesting to know what kind of shot this would be had I waded into the water to get rid of some foreground clutter in the composition.

Lovely photo, love the colours, though I think such colours always make Scotland look a great deal warmer than she actually is. :D
