Description
Location: Looking towards Sgurr Alasdair of the Black Cuillin Ridge, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Taken from the Inaccessible Pinnacle along the Cuillin ridge of Skye.

This was one of my most unforgettable mountain experiences. Taken in July last year in the middle of a heat wave. I traveled up to the Isle of Skye with some climber friends with the intention of meeting up with my friend Will Copestake willcopestakemedia.com/. Will was summiting the peaks of Skye as part of a wider year long trip that saw him sea kayak around the entire coast of Scotland and climb all 287 munros and cycling between the mountains too.
Anyway, it was too hot to climb during the day so we set off from the valley in the late afternoon and we reached the finger of rock known in munro bagging cirlces as the Inaccessible Pinnacle, by late evening. My climber friends geared up the route to the top and and belayed me so that I could get to the summit. We were all up for sunset and the views and lighting were tremendous as you can see.
