Location: Goles River Valley, east end of Glenelly, Sperrin Mountains, Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland

This wee ruin probably dates from the Great Irish famine of 1845-1851. The North of Ireland wasn't as badly hit by the famine; well the people in the lowlands anyway.

The poorer native Irish were pushed to the hills centuries before hand and the land was bad there. The people who lived here were really poor.
